This Privacy Policy explains how SEO Software AI ("we", "us", "the app") handles your information across our mobile application (package com.seosoftwareai.app) and our website at seosoftwareai.com. The app and the website share one account, so the data described here is the same on both. By using SEO Software AI, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

SEO Software AI provides SEO analysis tools — a page checker, keyword and content utilities, AI-powered analysis tools, an AI chat assistant, site monitoring, and learning content. Some tools run entirely on your device; others send a URL, text, or image you choose to our servers for analysis, and some use artificial intelligence to generate their results (see section 5). You can browse and use many tools without an account.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Account details. When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
  • Google Sign-In (optional). If you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, and Google account ID with us so we can create or link your account. We do not receive your Google password. See Google's own policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Content you submit to tools. URLs, text, or images you enter so a tool can analyze them — for example, a page to score, a keyword to research, or a photo for the alt-text tool. We use this only to return your result and do not sell it. Some tools process this content using Google Gemini; see section 5 for what that means.
  • Google Search Console data (optional). If you connect your Google Search Console account, Google shares read-only access to your own site's search performance — clicks, impressions, keyword rankings, and indexing status — using the webmasters.readonly scope. We use this only to show you your own data and to power the AI action plan for your site. We never request write access and cannot change anything in your Search Console account. You can disconnect this at any time from your account settings.
  • Support messages. If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details to reply.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage and activity. Points, XP, streaks, daily bonuses, and tool-usage records tied to your account, so features like the leaderboard and rewards work.
  • Device and technical data. IP address, device type, operating system version, and app version — used for security, fraud prevention, and diagnosing problems.
  • Advertising identifier. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. See section 4.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and secure your account and keep it in sync between the app and website.
  • To run the tools you request, including AI-powered analysis, and return their results.
  • To operate points, XP, streaks, the leaderboard, and other account features.
  • To process purchases and manage your Pro subscription.
  • To send you notifications you have enabled (for example, site-monitoring alerts).
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
  • To respond to your support requests.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and limited technical data to show and measure ads. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings under Settings → Google → Ads. Google's advertising practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Purchasing Pro removes ads.

5. AI-powered features (Google Gemini)

Several parts of SEO Software AI use artificial intelligence to generate their results: the SEO Copilot chat assistant, the AI-powered tools (such as Veridex Score, AI Search Visibility, Content Brief Generator, and the AI alt-text tool), and the AI action plan shown after a site scan. These features are clearly marked with an "AI" label wherever their results appear, so you always know when you are looking at AI-generated content rather than raw data.

To generate these results, the specific text, URL, or image you submit to that feature is sent to Google Gemini, a third-party AI model provider, for processing. We send only what is needed to answer your request — not your account password, payment details, or unrelated account data. This processing is governed by Google's API terms; Gemini does not use this content to train its general-purpose models under the terms we use. Your consent. The app asks for your explicit agreement the first time you use any AI-powered feature, before anything is sent to Gemini. You can decline and continue using the app's non-AI tools instead. If you agree, we remember your choice so you are not asked again on every use.

Accuracy. AI-generated content can be inaccurate or incomplete. Treat AI suggestions — rewritten titles, action plans, chat answers — as a starting point, not a guarantee, and use your own judgment before publishing anything based on them.

6. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Point packs and Pro subscriptions are purchased through Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment; we do not receive or store your card number. We receive a purchase confirmation so we can credit your account and verify your subscription status. Manage or cancel subscriptions any time in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.

7. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Google — for Sign-In, AdMob advertising, Play Billing, Search Console access, and AI processing through Gemini, as described above.
  • Service providers that host our servers and send email on our behalf, bound to protect your data.
  • Authorities, if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Some tools call Google services (such as PageSpeed Insights) using only the public URL you submit — never your personal data.

8. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons. Content you submit to AI tools is used to generate your result and is not retained by us beyond what is needed to show you that result and, where applicable, your tool-usage history.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction. View and edit your profile in the app or on the website.
  • Account deletion. Request deletion from within the app, from your account settings on the website, or by emailing us at contact@seosoftwareai.com.
  • AI features. Decline AI consent when first asked, or continue using only the app's non-AI tools at any time.
  • Search Console. Disconnect your Google Search Console account at any time from your account settings.
  • Notifications. Turn app notifications on or off in your device settings.
  • Ads. Reset or limit your advertising ID in device settings.

10. Children

SEO Software AI is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

12. International users

Your information may be processed on servers located outside your country, including by Google for the services described above. By using the app, you consent to this transfer, subject to the protections in this policy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
